friday's thoughtsEvolution...

This is what happens when you stay in one company for too long.

tuesday's thoughtsBudding Poets...

Excellent poems by not so famous poets... found on toilet doors and walls..........

A budding poet trying his best...

Here I lie in stinky vapor,
Because some bastard stole the toilet paper,
Shall I lie, or shall I linger,
Or shall I be forced to use my finger.

Before he graduated to be a poet, he wrote this...

Here I sit
Broken hearted
Tried to shit
But only farted

Someone who had a different experience wrote,

You're lucky
You had your chance
I tried to fart,
And shit my pants!

Perhaps it's true that people find inspiration in toilets.

I came here
To shit and stink,
But all I do
Is sit and think.

There are also people who come in for a different purpose...

Some come here to sit and think,
Some come here to shit and stink,
But I come here to scratch my balls,
And read the bullshit on the walls...

Toilets walls also double as job advertisement space.......
(written high upon the wall)

If you can piss above this line, the Singapore Fire Department wants you.

Ministry of Environment advertisement.

We aim to please!
You aim too! Please

On the inside of a toilet door:

Patrons are requested to remain seated throughout the entire performance.

And finally, this should teach some a lesson... (Sign seen at a restaurant:)

The hands that clean these toilets also make your food...please aim properly.

tuesday's thoughtsNothing is Impossible

H
ow time flies... it's been a month since I've been actively blogging. Being busy isn't the whole story... neither is the lack of topics. On the contrary... many thoughts and grouses has been on my mind, and due to the public nature of this avenue... sad to say, I'm unable to share further.

For those who has been faithful readers through the years might realise there's a certain topic I've been circling in. Topic that pretty much involves going rounds in circles.

To set the record straight.. I'm someone who likes to push ahead, regardless of work, family, friends, love or other matters. I hate procrastinators. To much dismay, at times I'm guilty as charged. However, in my mitigation.. much of my procrastinating often involves external factor that were beyond the boundaries of my control... kinda like a car waiting for the traffic lights to go green.. nothing the driver could do except to wait.

Ok, back to the topic... I really hate when things or situations starts going around in circles. To me, either you stop or move ahead. In my opinion, roundabouts are justifiable only for 1st usage, anymore than that.. its for the indecisive and the unprepared. (For those who are still scratching their scalps, think of how this analogy applies to matters other than driving.)

Probably due to my upbringing, social and work environment, being result-orientated has enabled me to achieved things a little more and a little faster than my peers. As such, seeing much work, time and effort has been spent but returns are often circling in the doldrums.. with no clear indications or improvements in sight, it really got me irritated.

Patience is indeed a virtue, a trait I've painstakingly harnessed and still harnessing thoughout the years. But like a saying goes.. "nothing last forever". Not life, not $$, not even water or air and certainly not Patience.

I've always been a keen believer and practitioner of a faith called: "Chances". Probably a preset feature in my programming during my inception... I strongly believe in the power of the human mind... the ability to affect and induce change. Nothing is permanent. Yes... not even your character nor your habits. It all boils down to HOW important and HOW determined you are in wanting the changes.

Nothing is impossible, just a matter of Wants. (correct me if I'm wrong...)

monday's thoughtsBestseller in the making? Or just a flop...

As she steers into unknown waters, her crew made the fatal mistake of assuming the ship's tough enough to withstand all dangers. Barely a few years since leaving port.. cracks have appeared on numerous occasions,
at times.. it seems fate has destined it to be part of the seabed. Yet, thanks to its never-say-die attitude of its crew's tireless repairs and work, hope was never lost and miracles was born.

Maybe its the time, or maybe its the pressure of the high seas. This indomitable attiude of her crew has waned significantly. If this goes uncheck... it could very well mean the end of this ship. She will sink.

Period.

wednesday's thoughtsUpdates

Phew... what a month! It's been a whirlwind of activities, work and more work with just enough break in between for some much-needed shuteye... hence my lack of posts recently.

Well, guess I own you guys a little update. Hmm.. I can't reveal too much for now but for just a sliver of info, something major is on the cards... not entirely new but a realignment of strategy and focus.

Oh, this is getting fun.. maybe I'll just tease you guys a little further... here's a teaser ad I've done.

Part 1

Part 2

Apart from work... it's been a pretty turbulent period with plenty of ups & downs. Nothing new or news-worthy, just that I'm really getting tired and pretty sick of it all.
